On a twist of a psychological thriller comes Initiated to Kill. Two men, centuries apart, initiated into an organization whose influence spans the globe. A university and influential figures conspire to engineer chaos and fear to undermine a country by eroding trust in authority and everything around them.
Yes, I am shamelessly going to plug my debut novel. I am currently working on my last edit for my second novel ‘The Legend Returns’, the 2nd book in the Annabella Cordova series. So, why not refresh your memory on the first?

It began in Spain, altering Annabella’s life forever, and sending her on a destructive and deadly path in the second book.
In Initiated to Kill I examine who the real Jack the Ripper could have been. I don’t just write about his crimes, I write about him. The man behind the infamous title, the man that committed such atrocities leaving Londoners in fear and morbid fascination towards who this person could be.

And who was this man? Still to this day, we do not know for certain. However, I seek to examine a man’s life from boyhood, how he grew up, his potential psychopathic tendencies, and what might have triggered him from just being a killer to turning into the infamous Jack the Ripper.
The present day story-line delves into another man’s life, and how these two men are connected. Would a powerful organization go to such violent lengths to regain their influence and control?
Find out in Initiated to Kill.
Initiated to Kill is a tale of two worlds – one aspect set in 19th century London, the other set in 2016 Spain.
Annabella Cordova, a deaf art student is caught up in a conspiracy when her best friend is taken, followed by other female students disappearing every seven days. A gruesome package sent to the police foretells of their fate.
With her own traumatic memories resurfacing, Annabella must tackle her most painful experience to uncover those involved in her past and in the present.
Back in 19th century London, a powerful organization initiates a killer creating murderous anarchy on the streets of London.
Historical and present-day events collide as Annabella and Detective Andres Valero combine their skills to discover a killer connected to the man we know as Jack the Ripper.
The book will appeal to readers of historical and psychological fiction in the style and theme of Raymond Khoury (Empire of Lies), and Gillian Flynn (Dark Places). I explore the deeper aspects of the psychological nature of the characters, alternating between past and present to provide a back story of the characters, and how history connects with the present day events.
